Our story

We built a wedding planner you can simply tell what needs to happen.

When we started planning our own wedding, we thought a shared document would do. Until the questions started. This is the story of Ringske: first just for ourselves, now for every couple getting married in Belgium.

It started with our own wedding

Moya and I are getting married in May 2027 in Ghent. When we started planning, we thought a shared document would do: one row per invitation, a column with the number of people.

Until the questions started. Who has confirmed? How many people are coming to dinner? When do we have to file the marriage declaration? And how much budget do we actually have left?

So we started building Ringske. At first just for ourselves: one place where the answer always is, for both of us. Other couples can use it too by now. And now you can even plan your wedding straight from Claude.

Getting married in Belgium has its own rules

What struck us: the well-known wedding planners come from the United States. They don't know that you file the marriage declaration no earlier than six months and no later than fourteen days before the wedding. Or that the civil ceremony is sometimes in the morning and the party on another day, and that Aunt Rita might only come to the reception.

So Ringske takes that into account. The to-do list knows the Belgian deadlines and moves along when your date changes. Guests answer per part of the day, through one link or the QR code on the card. And you plan together, each with your own login.

And now: just say what needs to happen

Most planning doesn't happen behind a computer. It happens on the phone with an aunt, in the car after visiting the venue, or on the couch at night when something suddenly comes to mind. In those moments, you just want to say it.

Now you can. If you use Claude or ChatGPT, you connect Ringske to it once. After that you tell it what changed or ask what you want to know, and it is in your planning right away, for your partner too.

What that looks like in practice

Three conversations with a fictional couple. Your AI words it a little differently each time, but this is what happens.

Aunt Rita called: she comes with two to the reception, but not to the dinner.

Noted for Aunt Rita: two people at the reception, not at the dinner. Your partner sees it right away in the guest list.

What needs doing in the next two weeks?

Three tasks: file the marriage declaration with the city, give the numbers to the caterer and pick up the rings. The declaration is the most urgent.

We're going with Studio Licht as photographer, for 2,400 euro.

Studio Licht is marked as booked, and the 2,400 euro is now in the budget under the photographer.

What it deliberately doesn't do

Your AI sends no mail to guests and changes nothing about your wedding site or account. Before it changes something, it says what it is about to do. And everything it changes shows up in the logbook under the name of whoever connected, "via Claude" or "via ChatGPT". You revoke access in the dashboard with one click.

Where to find Ringske

Since October 2026, Ringske is listed as a Community Connector in Claude's connector directory. That means Anthropic reviewed the connector automatically; it is not a seal of approval or a partnership. You open the listing, choose Connect and sign in with your Ringske login.

For ChatGPT, Ringske has been submitted and OpenAI's review is still running. Until then you add the server address yourself; that works today.

Who we build it for

Ringske is a small product from Ghent. We build it first for our own wedding, and for every couple getting married in Belgium who would rather plan than search. Planning is free. Only when you publish your wedding site and open the RSVP do you pay €149, once, and the connection with Claude and ChatGPT is included.
